Meet our TEAM
Abby Chambers- Program Manager
Hi, my name is Abby and I have been diagnosed with Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome, chronic migraines, anxiety, depression, panic disorder and PTSD. I have been battling chronic illness for over 6 years and I've found it so important to focus on the good, even when things are difficult. Chronic illness has taken a lot away from me, but I love to spend time with my family and friends, take pictures, read poetry, and write. As a chronic illness warrior myself, I hope to spread hope and joy to others fighting their own chronic illness battles!

Hello! My name is Ashley Walker. I have been diagnosed with Alport’s Syndrome- Stage 1, Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome, Cardiomyopathy, Dysautonomia, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and Gastroparesis and Intestinal Dysmotility. Music is a huge passion of mine and something that has gotten me through my different health battles. I am in college to be an occupational therapist and am extremely eager to use my experiences to help those around me. I am super excited to be a member of this team and have the opportunity to brighten someone’s day.
Lydia Vann- Writer
Hi, my name is Lydia. I am recovering from VGKC antibody limbic encephalitis and it’s after effects. I have also been diagnosed with Autoimmune GI Dysmotility, Dysautonomia, Raynauds Syndrome, Psoriasis, and OCD. Everyday I fight my own immune system. Chronic illness has put me on a different path, but I will not stop trying to achieve my goals. I hope to one day go to college and major in math. I also love to dance and listen to music. I am so excited to be a part of Cards for Warriors. I want other people to know they are not alone, and there is still hope, even if you don’t see it. Impossible exists. I’ve seen it. Impossible can change. I’ve seen that too.
