Meet our Team
Sara Cohen- Program Manager
Hello friends! My name is Sara and I have been a part of this program since its start in 2016. I have been diagnosed with Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (and the co-morbid conditions- POTS, Gastroparesis, MCAS), and Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome. Even though I have several chronic illnesses, I still love to ride and show horses! I am currently in school to become an Occupational Therapist so that I can help others continue doing what they love despite their circumstances. I love being part of this project and having the opportunity to connect with warriors across the globe! You are never alone, and are so much more than any diagnosis. You are a warrior!
Morgan Sherwood- Writer
My name is Morgan, and I am from West Virginia. I have POTS, EDS, MCAS, neutrally mediated hypotension, and neurocardiogenic seizures. It has been a long battle over the last three years, but I am able to attend school full time as a sophomore honors student & enrolled at my local community college. I am a member of the varsity track team at my school, and work as tumbling and gymnastics coach at my local recreation center. It may seem like I do so many “normal things,” but it’s a been a very long journey to get here and I fight a battle every day with a smile on my face to stay this active. If you ever need to talk, you can reach me on Instagram @morgan.sh

After high school I hope to go to college for nursing as I want to make an impact on others like my nurses have on me. I have joined this project as I would love to have the opportunity to brighten someones day while they’re going through a hard time!
Abby Chambers- Writer
Hi, my name is Abby and I have been diagnosed with Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome, chronic migraines, anxiety, depression, panic disorder and PTSD. I have been battling chronic illness for over 6 years and I've found it so important to focus on the good, even when things are difficult. Chronic illness has taken a lot away from me, but I love to spend time with my family and friends, take pictures, read poetry, and write. As a chronic illness warrior myself, I hope to spread hope and joy to others fighting their own chronic illness battles!
