Escaping Reality!

“Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body.” -Joseph Addison

Are you ever in a funk and need to escape for a while? Or stuck in a doctor’s office or a hospital room and want a taste of something different? Reading is one of my most valuable coping strategies. The chance to explore a whole other life, to forget about everything going on in my own world and live in someone else’s, makes all the pain go away for awhile (mental or physical).

I’ve had some help from fellow warriors to compile a list of of go to reads:

Hi everyone! I have been absent from the blog lately because I was putting all my energy into new ideas and expansion for the rest of Brave and Beautiful. Now that these ideas are in the works and some are already launched (like our new Positive Posts Section!) I finally can get back to writing myself! I hope you enjoyed this list I compiled a couple of months ago, and that you're getting excited for all the new things to come!!
